DATA METHODOLOGY
PCSO draw data coverage and methodology
This note explains what the LottoLens PH open dataset covers, where the schedule and historical-result records cover, how fields are normalized and validated, and what the data should not be used to claim.
Dataset scope
The package describes the normal draw schedule for 2D Lotto, 3D Lotto, 4D Lotto, 6D Lotto, Lotto 6/42, Mega Lotto 6/45, Super Lotto 6/49, Grand Lotto 6/55, and Ultra Lotto 6/58. It records normal draw days, draw times, result formats, number ranges, and plain-language field definitions. It also includes a fixed historical snapshot covering 13,457 result rows from 2022-01-02 through 2026-07-20. Individual games have different start and end dates within that overall range.
Download the historical results CSV. The maintained LottoLens PH historical draw archive may be newer than this versioned snapshot.
Sources and provenance
Schedule facts are compiled from public Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office game information and draw-schedule materials. The official PCSO website remains the final authority for holiday suspensions, special draws, schedule changes, and official result announcements.
Historical rows retain source_name and source_url fields. Sources
can include official materials and third-party public result archives,
so the snapshot is an independent compilation rather than an official
PCSO database. Each published field is defined in a separate CSV. The repository also
includes Frictionless Data metadata, machine-readable table schemas,
citation metadata, and a public license so researchers can inspect the
package without reverse-engineering the website.
Normalization rules
- All times are represented in Philippine Time (PHT, UTC+8).
- Game names use a stable canonical label across files.
- Digit-result lengths and jackpot number ranges are stored explicitly.
- Leading zeroes and published number order should be preserved in result archives.
- Unknown or unavailable facts should remain empty rather than estimated.
Snapshot validation
- 13,457 data rows and nine fields per row.
- No duplicate game, draw-date, and draw-time keys.
- No empty winning-number fields.
- All rows use the published status value.
- No draw date is later than the 2026-08-07 snapshot publication date.
Update policy
The schedule is reviewed when PCSO announces a material change. Historical CSVs are published as fixed snapshots so previously cited files are not silently rewritten. Live result pages are updated separately after draw windows. The result-verification guide describes how to match the game, date, session, number order, and source.
Limitations
A normal schedule is not a guarantee that a draw will occur at that time. Public holidays, official suspensions, technical delays, or special announcements can change operations. Independent archives can also lag behind an official correction, so new or disputed results should be checked against an official PCSO source.
Historical frequency, hot and cold numbers, and missing streaks are descriptive summaries. They do not predict a random future draw and do not support guaranteed-win claims. LottoLens PH is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by PCSO.
